SKIN BLEMISHES

Cryopen

Cryopen results.jpg

CryoPen offers the ideal treatment for: Skin Tags, Solar Lentigo, Age spots, Milia, Warts, Cherry Angiomas and Viral Verrucae’s.

Cosmetic procedures such as skin tags, milia & cherry angiomas are no longer being treated by many doctors on the NHS. With the CryoPen you can now have these treatments in the MediSpa Clinic.
Cryotherapy is relatively low risk procedure.
CryoPen delivers N20 directly to the area, and not the healthy surrounding tissue.

How it Works:

The CryoPen emits a fine jet of nitrous oxide under high pressure, which allows the clinician to work with millimetre precision.
This destroys the tissue by freezing the inter-cellular fluid, forming ice shards and crystals which rupture the membrane, thereby destroying the cell. That means there will be no collateral damage to healthy tissue.
Its so incredibly accurate & practical.

ACP

ACP treatment.jpg

Probably the least invasive, minimal and effective method of treatment for a such a wide variety of blemishes, electrolysis has got to be the most sensible and safe choice. Results are often instantaneous, pleasing and life enhancing.

Advanced electrolysis treatments can be a rewarding treatment to have as the results are often instantly visible.
This treatment offers a professional solution to these unwanted skin imperfections and conditions.

The Skin blemishes or conditions that are treated with Advanced Cosmetic Procedure (ACP):

  • Skin Tags: small growths that hang off your skin. They are benign, noncancerous, tumors of the skin. They're common and harmless, but can be removed if they're bothering you.

  • Seborrheic Keratosis: A seborrheic keratosis is a common noncancerous (benign) skin growth. People tend to get more of them as they get older.

  • Thread Veins: red over-dilated capillaries, often seen in the cheeks.

  • Spider Veins (Telangiectasia): a central over-dilated blood vessel.

  • Milia: Milia are benign and transient dermal cysts of keratin. These white appearing bumps are present in many different ways, and can develop in any areas of the skin, most commonly the face.

  • Blood Spots (Cherry Angiomas/Campbell de Morgan): Red moles, or cherry angiomas, are common skin growths that can develop on most areas of your body. They’re also known as senile angiomas or Campbell de Morgan spots.

Laser Pigmented Lesion Removal

Eliminate unwanted pigment on the face & body with our clinically proven Laser technology for safe, effective & comfortable treatments for men & women for:

  • Age Spots

  • Sun Spots

  • Facial veins

  • Leg veins

How does it work:

At a Laser consultation, your practitioner will explain your bespoke treatment protocol depending on the target (lesions/pigment) to be treated.  The laser treatment settings will be customised to target the colour & depth of your skin concern.  The laser light is converted into heat energy & absorbed only by the cells containing excessive pigment.  This causes effective destruction while leaving the surrounding tissue undamaged. Most people only require 1-2 treatments.

What can I expect after the treatment?

Typically, you can return to normal activities immediately following the treatment.  Redness may be expected following the treatment; however, it will resolve within a few days.  Treated pigmentation & brown spots will darken following the treatment & slough off within a few days.
